Yagoda, the ruthless chief of the NKDV (afterwords renamed KGB) recruted Dalilah Saslavsky aka "La Diabla Roja" or "Pepita la Pistolera" for sabotage/insurgent activities in the Mexican-U.S. border during the 1920s. She probably received military training together with Olga Benario, who together with Captain Prestes was sent to carry out similar activities in Brazil.
